CCB Wageningen-UR is the formalisation of a long-time collaboration between Wageningen University and the DLO institutes in the field of biospheric aspects of climate change. Seven organisations of Wageningen-UR participate in the CCB: Alterra - Green World Research, Wageningen Institute for Environment and Climate Research (WIMEK), Production Ecology & Resource Conservation Graduate School (PE & RC), ATO - Agrotechnical Research Institute, IMAG - Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering, Plant Research International and the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (LEI). Prof. Pavel Kabat is the director of CCB. CCB's research focuses on: interaction and feedback mechanisms between regional climate(change) and land use and ecosystems; greenhouse gases and soil, vegetation and the atmosphere; and socio-economic evaluation of (inter)national climate policies.
